Gilgal Church of God, Al Ain began as a small Malayalee Pentecostal gathering begun by Rev. Dr KO Mathew on May 2003. Dr Mathew came to Al Ain and seeing the need of a Malayalee Pentecostal Church in this area of the Arabian Peninsula when there were very less Malayalee churches in the area. Only a few members were present at that initial gathering, but God blessed his initiative and within a few months many people joined this fellowship.
We started from Al Buraimi, Oman we were praying for a permanent location to worship God, God answered our prayers by providing us a permanent rented location in association with the Evangelical Church premises since 2007.
As the Malayalam congregation started to grow – there was a need to add many other events and church activities for the spiritual empowerment and growth of each section of the Church. Church administration decided to increase the number of meetings and outreach activities in the surrounding nearby camps and areas.
Some of the Pastors -who served in Gilgal Church of God, Al Ain are as follows: Pr. George Varghese, Late Pr. Elias Mathew, Pr. Benoy Thomas, Pr. Reji Mathew, Pr. Shibu K Mathew, Pr. Phile Samuel.

Phile Samuel, and various nationalities and people from all castes and languages started to come and be a part of the Gilgal Church of God Al Ain.
